Candlelight Processional
Orlando, Florida Holiday Choir Performance
Disney’s Candlelight Processional, held annually at Epcot, is a moving choral performance that tells The Christmas Story through words and song. A mass choir of students from across the country, in conjunction with the Disney choir and the Disney Sound of Liberty elite choir, sing a touching portrayal of the story of Jesus Christ and The Three Kings on Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day. Aided by a celebrity narrator who reads The Christmas Story to the audience, the singers put on an incredible show that truly fills the theatre with the spirit of Christmas. Past celebrity narrators have included Whoopi Goldberg, Edward James Olmos, and Gary Sinise.
Upcoming narrators for the 2011 performances include stars such as Neil Patrick Harris, Susan Lucci, Marlee Matlin, Isabella Rossellini, Trace Adkins, Blair Underwood and more. Starting the day after Thanksgiving and extending through the end of December, this performance is truly a must see!
Attention choral directors! This is the premier holiday performance for your show or honor choir, and often marks a new level achievement for singers, working alongside the elite Disney performers to share the story of Christmas with hundreds of audience members.
